Our goal is to camp one weekend each month

Developing Leaders
and
Problem Solvers
Troop 303 formed in 1984. We serve youth
from Wheaton, Warrenville and the surrounding
communities. We currently have
about 30 active scouts. As a veteran troop,
we are proud of our achievements, and we
invite you to be part of the fun.
Troop 303 is a scout-run organization,
which makes it a lot more fun. Using the
patrol method, the scouts plan meetings,
service projects and monthly campouts,
including where we go and what we do
once we get there. We plan “fun with a purpose”
so that scouts can work on merit
badges and rank advancements at our
events.
Troop 303 participates in multiple service
projects within our local community.
We have more than the national average of
Eagle Scouts, yet our adult leaders let you
move at your own pace.
We hope to see you at one of our meetings,
service projects or campouts!

Attendance:
• We encourage active participation in the
Troop 303 but believe Scouting is part of
a balanced youth experience.
• Scouts have varying interests and obligations
and may not be able to attend all
meetings and events. We’re happy to
have your scout join us the rest of the
time.
Charter Organization:
Warrenville Memorial VFW Post 8081
Eagle Scouts: Since 1985, Troop 303 has
had 117 Scouts become Eagles. Nationally,
6% of all Scouts reached Eagle. By comparison,
in recent years, almost 10% of Troop
303’s active scouts have attained Eagle.
High Adventure: The experience of a lifetime!
Each year, older scouts take high adventure
trips to amazing places. We’ve attended
Philmont in New Mexico, Sea Base
in the Keys, Virgin Islands and Bahamas;
Boundary Waters in Minnesota, and Cole
Canoe Base in Michigan. We’ve even slept
in igloos and gone dog sledding at Snow
Base in northern Wisconsin!
